Chef | Full Time

We are on the lookout for a new and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team under our head chef. This is a full time position for someone who has a true passion for food, bringing a lively energy to their dishes as well as to the team culture. We’re already famous for our wood fired pizza, and with our new chef putting their own stamp on the menu, there will be lots of exciting changes to be part of!

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone with 2+ years experience in a kitchen 

  • A team player who is confident in delivering consistent food in a simple and effortless manor 

  • A multitasker who will thrive in a fast paced environment

  • Someone with excellent time management and planning skills  

  • A person who is happy getting stuck into all jobs in the kitchen.

Tasting Room Host | Full Time

We are on the lookout for a new Tasting Room Host to join our small family style team. This is a position for someone who has a true passion for sales with a love for delicious wine and spirits. This role is sales first, hospitality second, and for someone who brings lively banter to both customers and team culture - we want the new member of our team to have as much character as all the delicious tipples we pour.

 

This position can be full time or part time (weekends are a must) with sociable hours.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone with 2+ years experience in a customer focused, sales driven role

  • A can-do attitude when it comes to hitting sales targets

  • A person who can identify a customer's needs and is able to pitch relevant products

  • Someone who can provide our customers with a positive experience from start to finish

  • The ability to run a small venue solo, as well as part of a team

  • Someone with a passion for Central Otago wines, spirits, and all things delicious is advantageous

  • Someone with the confidence to host private tasting sessions (we work with some of the regions best tour companies to host fun private sessions)

  • Duty Managers License advantageous
